2007 PTMS User Conference A Huge Success
San Diego, California - October 8, 2007
Tax Compliance, Inc. convened its 2007 PTMS User Conference September 26 - 28, 2007 at the beautiful Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. Situated next to the world famous golf course along San Diego's Pacific Coast, the resort offered an ideal setting for the three days of learning, networking, and fun.
"I was extremely pleased with the turnout, energy, and enthusiasm shown by the PTMS Community," said Scott Strauss CEO of Tax Compliance, Inc. "It was great to see so many familiar faces, establish new relationships, and meet face to face with our customers."
Jeanne McNeal, Manager, Personal Property Tax at Target Corporation expressed her gratitude to the TCI staff, "Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you all demonstrated to the user group at the conference." She added, "It is gratifying to see a company that is so willing to listen to what the users want and then actually implement the changes we request. You all did a great job!"
The 2007 PTMS User Conference provided the PTMS Community with valuable hands-on training, featuring more than fifty distinct session topics presented by TCI staff members and PTMS customers. Each session generated a large amount of participation and enthusiasm among attendees. "I have used PTMS for many years, but the User Conference still provided me with information and tools to maximize my use of the software," said Barbara Huffman, Principal Tax Accountant at The Coca-Cola Company. "It was well worth the trip and I'm looking forward to next year's conference."
With so many property tax professionals in attendance, the 2007 PTMS User Conference offered an excellent opportunity for the exchange of ideas and information. Attendees had direct access to TCI personnel for one-on-one meetings and additional instruction, and TCI's development staff came away with countless ideas for future enhancements to its software products, PTMS and LicenseHQ. "You can't place a value on the type of customer feedback we receive from the conference; it's priceless," said Strauss.
